Run 4 It was established in 2004 by running enthusiasts. Our shops in Scotland started in Glasgow then Aberdeen, where our headquarters are now situated followed by Edinburgh and Inverness. The aim in establishing the shops was to provide expertise, guidance and the highest standards of service and advice to all levels of runner in a professional, relaxed and un-intimidating environment.

We strive to train our staff to the highest standards. They therefore undergo a full suite of technical training on all aspects of our product range. We also work closely with podiatrists and health professionals to ensure the level of service and guidance that we offer is second to none.

The correct style and fit of running shoe is fundamentally important for you to have a great running experience and to prevent injury; we also want this fitting process to be fun and enlightening for our customers.

For the fitting of footwear we use a combination of visual and video analysis to establish the dynamics of the foot and in turn match this with the correct footwear. We invest heavily in stock to ensure that, across the leading brands, we have a vast array of styles and sizes to truly offer something for every type of runner. Typically each shop has over 1000 pairs of shoes in stock at any one time!

It's not just about footwear of course, within all of our shops you will find a comprehensive range of running apparel for men, ladies and kids, as well as a wide selection of running accessories and technical training aids.

Beyond this, it's all about the running, which we are all extremely passionate about. We sponsor, support and arrange a wide range of running events, looking at every opportunity to promote running and give something back to the running community. In addition, we aim to provide runners with resources in the form of advice, talks and clinics to ensure that everyone can get as much from their running as we do.
