In fact, these days the smart runner has a whole wardrobe for winter running clothing and another for summer apparel. So after you’ve popped into your favourite sports shop, the next stop will be Ikea, where you can pick up a second wardrobe!

Get kitted out

Thanks to longer, lighter and warmer days everyone suddenly finds they have more energy. But you’ll also want to make sure you’re properly kitted out for the sunny season. For a start, warmer temperatures demand lighter materials and more effective wick-away fabrics.
