Are You Ready Motivational Evening

Don’t miss your chance to hear an inspiring talk by Kenny Herriot, Scotland’s wheelchair marathon champion on Wednesday August 20 at 6.30pm at Run 4 It in Tiso Glasgow Outdoor Experience at 6.30pm.

Herriot, who became disabled in 2000 after a motorcycle accident, has gone on to become one of Scotland’s most inspiring athletes. He is a world leading wheelchair competitor and in 2005 he broke the British record for the marathon.

The athletics star will be offering his own brand of motivational tips and advice on achieving your own goals. So for anyone who is struggling with their training for this year’s Great Scottish Run, Herriot’s talk could be exactly the motivation you’re looking for to make it to the start line on September 7.

This exciting event also includes:

  • A question and answer session with Frank Clement, the Great Scottish Run race director
  • A chance to meet Mizuno athlete Jackson Williams, the boxer-turned-ultra marathon runner
  • Therapy and injury prevention advice
  • Refreshments and offers.

The event is free but places are limited so please register in advance at glasgowcity@run-4-it.com or on tel.: 0141 559 5450.
