What is it:
The Brooks Nightlife jacket is wind-proof, shower-proof and breathable. The most important feature is the reflectivity aspect making it ideal for either day or night running. In addition other features have not been neglected, it is vented at the back and has 2 generous zipped pockets which are capable of holding gloves or a hat. A zipped pocket on the chest is ideal for smaller lighter articles. Another innovation is the internal chest pocket for either a MP3 or mobile telephone. The jacket provides excellent windproofness and protection against all the elements that a city commute throws at you. It also transferred well as a cycling jacket.

Pros: The incredible reflectivity meant I was always seen no matter what the lighting conditions. Also the number of pockets was also a plus.
Cons: I found that when running at race or threshold pace the breathability was somewhat reduced.
