What is it?
Inov-8's Terroc 330
Your name: Mark Storey The area you run in: Renfrewshire
I run 1-2 hour long, off-road runs and occasional off-road duathlons that include moorland, boggy sections and pine forest. I often run at Locher Woodland near Muirsheil Park. I also run at Findlystone house and up on the Paisley Braes. I run for the challenge and to keep fit.
These shoes were recommended to me by fellow runners and I liked the “trainer” like ride, comfort, grip. They've been comfortable since taking them out of the box and have handled wet, slippy terrain well. My knees and ankles have been helped by the cushioning. I'd say the shoes are good value and a sturdy off-road shoe for all conditions.
Pros:
- Drain water well while running
- Great grip offering a stable ride.
Cons:
- Toe protector a little firm
- Standard lacing system is hard to untie when caked in mud
Technical Info:
- Ideal for hard surface tracks and trails
- Medial and lateral posting to aid pronation or supination
- High levels of comfort enabling it to be used daily
- Meta-flex groove which is anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural forefoot flex.
- Met-cradle design holds the forefoot behind the metatarsal heads and ensures the foot is held in the shoe
- Terra-shank provides increased underfoot protection and extra stability and support
- Endurance rubber compound is used on the soles which provides a increased mix terrain grip
- Endurance last provides a comfortable fit, ideal for training and longer distances
