what are the best socks and running shoes to wear to prevent pain in my achilles muscles. I jog for 3 miles twice a week, but get a really bad pulling pain in my achilles muscles when I stop jogging, even though I warm up and before and after jogging, thanks

Hi Caroline Couple of questions to assist with query: 1. Have you had your running gait analysed to determine the correct shoes. 2. How long have you been jogging for? has it always bothered you? I need to ask you a few other questions to assist me in your query so If you could direct your answers to the above to online@run4it.com and I will speak to you directly. Thanks Pamela
