There's a surprising amount of little lacing tricks to help you get a better fit out of your shoe and/or help to reduce blisters caused from shoes rubbing. If you ever feel like your shoes are slipping a little bit at the back of your foot then this first one is for you....
Step.1 - Feed your laces like normal leaving the last hole at the very top free
Step.2 - Then feed the right hand lace through the top, right hand hole and the same for the left hand side creating a loop
Step.3 - Cross the laces like you normally would when lacing a shoe then feed them through the loop and tighten and tie as you normally would!
Creating The Loop.
Feeding through the loop.
Pull through and tighten.
If you have a narrow foot and want to get a better fit over your midfoot try this technique...
Step.1 - Feed the laces like normal through the first two holes at the bottom of the tongue then miss out the next two.
Step.2 - Feed the laces through the third two holes and then back through again but make sure that, before you pull them tight you feed them through the loop, created on the opposite side.
Step.3 - Continue to lace as normal

If you have a high instep try this technique at the top of the laces...
Step.1 - Lace up to the first two holes normally then feed the laces up each side of the shoe (so not crossing the laces over like you would normally).
Step.2 - Feed the laces back through the third hole from the top and then continue lacing as normal but create the same loop system as in the previous two techniques at the top.
