The men's (left) and ladies' (right) Garmin Forerunner 110
We're happy to announce the GPS enabled Garmin Forerunner 110 is now available!
The 110 enables you to track your training so you know how far and how fast you run. It’s incredibly easy to use as there’s virtually no setup required, you can simply press start and run or walk with it. It uses GPS to accurately record your distance, time and pace.
Training information from each run is stored in the unit, so you can go back and see how you did last week or last month. You can also upload this to Garmin’s Connect™ website so you can review your runs. It features HotFix™ satellite prediction which locks onto satellites quickly, plus it has a high-sensitivity GPS receiver so that it doesn’t lose the signal under tree cover or near high buildings and the like.
This model includes a heart rate monitor which displays your heart rate in beats per minute. It also provides heart rate-based calorie computations so you can accurately track your calories burned. It works with both PCs and Macs too.
One thing to note is that Garmin’s ANT+ wireless technology on this Forerunner works only with an ANT+ heart rate monitor, no other accessories.
