Graeme Stewart, one of Scotland's best long distance triathletes will be talking in Run 4 It's Edinburgh shop on how to improve your running in triathlons. Graeme has been a Professional Triathlete for over two years and has had some impressive results. Last year he recorded two sub 8.5 hour finishes in Iron Distance races which included a 13th place finish at the highly competitive Challenge Roth and a 4th place finish at Challenge Barcelona.

Running is a sport that has grown in popularity over the years; this may be due to the ease of access to the sport or the fact that it is relatively inexpensive. Whether to wear correctly fitted running shoes has received some debate over the past year, with studies emerging questioning the need for expensive running shoes. Running is a great way to increase fitness, lose weight, and meet new people and for general improvement of wellbeing. Issues, unfortunately arise when inexperienced runners take to the streets without adequate conditioning and correct footwear.

The 2010 Bupa Great Edinburgh Run has a new home starting and finishing in the beautiful surroundings of Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. The popular 10k running event is suitable for people of all running abilities aged 15 years plus and a great way to help you make fit and healthy start to the year. This is a world-class course, which includes landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scott Monument, the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. We recommend you enter early into this race as last year saw over 10,000 people take part!
