The 60ml burner gel, from SiS is based on the same award winning technology as the Go gel, but contains 1g of L-Carnitine, the essential enzyme for driving fatty acids into cells so they can be metabolized and used as energy. The isotonic nature of the gel also means that it need not be taken with water, which is handy. What is Carnitine? Increasing the levels of Carnitine in your body’s muscles makes them more efficient at burning fat as a fuel rather then carbohydrate. This means that athletes may find it easier to loose weight/fat mass and make the same carbohydrate/glycogen stores last for longer. Gels should be consumed during exercise. Up to 2 burner gels can be consumed per day

Like all gels you have to find what works best for you, as some people like the taste of some and not others. It's very much a case of trial and error and trying a few different ones to see what works best. The Burner Gels are different than the GO gels in that you can only take 2 a day and they use Carnitine to burn fat rather than carbs, thus making your carbs/glycogen stores last for longer.
