Garmin's Forerunner 310 XT combined with a heart rate monitor can be used not only for running but swimming and cycling too, so it's ideal for the multi-sport athlete. It tracks your position precisely with GPS satellite data and records time, distance, pace, heart rate and more. The heart rate monitor can continuously track beats per minute and uses heart rate data in advanced calorie computation, so you can train in a certain heart rate zone to improve fitness and monitor your level of exertion. High-sensitivity GPS and HotFix™ satellite prediction means it acquires satellites quickly and tracks your movement even near tall buildings or under tree cover. You can upload your training data using innovative ANT+™ wireless technology straight to your PC or Mac and it has a 20 hour battery life and is waterproof up to a depth of 50m.
