Nike's +Sportband is a great tool to help you keep track of your distance, calories burned, pace and time. You can also use it as a watch when you're not running. The black section pulls out of the band and can then be inserted into a usb port where (after initially downloading the required software from Nikeplus.com) your run information will automatically be uploaded.
You can join the community at Nikeplus.com and set yourself goals or challenge others. It's very easy to use and can store up to approximately 30 hours of run information. If you have Nike+ compatible shoes then simply place the sensor into the shoe, if not you can buy a sensor pocket, although these can make the sportband less accurate.
