Amber Hemingway
Shop Manager

Amber joined the Run4It team in June 2023 after moving to Aberdeen. She started running for her local athletics club as a kid and for the Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force as a teen, racing cross country. After an injury, Amber had to put her running shoes aside for a while and sought solace in other outdoor pursuits. However, Amber has recently rediscovered her love for running and is excited to use trail running to explore Scotland. Outside of work, Amber can also be found hiking up mountains and climbing big rocks and is looking forward to climbing some Munros.

Ryan Snook
Assistant Manager

Ryan's running journey started at 15 when he signed up for the local athletics club to complete his sports section of his silver Duke of Edinburgh Award, finding a love for middle distance runs like a 5k. Ryan is still trying to better his PB of 23 minutes and will probably try for a long time. You can normally find Ryan either covered in chalk at the local bouldering gym or enjoying the view from the top of a Tor his hiked up solving a Rubik's cube.

Nick Milovsorov
Team Member

Nick is old. Very old. So old in fact that no one can quite remember how and when he started running. All they know is he always has! There are rumours and vague recollections that it may have been sometime between his 8th and 10th birthdays. Suffice to say he is still soldiering on. Over the years he has performed on the road and cross country to a respectable club standard and unlike a good wine has not got better with age. Fortune favours the persistent however and in recent years he has amassed 12 Scottish Championship medals, of varying hues, in the Super Vet Category. These have included the East XC Champs, Master National XC Champs, 10k Road Champs plus road and XC relays. Every year gets a little harder with a new influx of oldies but with 1 year still in this age band the opportunity is there to add one or two more.

Beth Douglas
Team Member

Beth is currently studying Sports Science at the University of Aberdeen. She is part of the university athletics club sprints squad and enjoys a short and sweet 100m sprint down the home straight, when not at the track you can often find her in the gym "enjoying" a good workout. Beth also enjoys going for walks with her family and aims to climb every Munro in Scotland one day.

Lucy Kerr
Team Member

Lucy is currently finishing her fourth year of geology at the university of Aberdeen and is about to begin her masters in soul science there. She swims competitively. And is president of the university swim and water polo team. She enjoys running as part of her triathlon training and is often found eyeing up which pair of trainers she wants to add to her collection.

Grace Brennan
Team Member

Grace is a keen athlete usually found flinging herself over bars using big sticks or lifting weights in the gym. She specialises in the pole vault and is currently Scottish senior bronze medallist and U20 silver medallist but striving for the gold one day. She has pretty much tried every event in athletics, except throwing, unless you think a 2.95m shot put personal best counts. Grace is currently studying Sport and Exercise science at the University of Aberdeen. Alongside university, training and work she enjoys sharing her love for sport and athletics through coaching youngsters.

Team image
Freya Ballard
Team Member

Freya is a runner, who is as much about the post-run brunch as she is about the actual running. After completing two marathons within the last year, Freya has found a new passion in running. Not just putting one foot in front of the other, but all the training and everything to help her add more medals to her collection. Let’s not forget her ever growing collection of trainers and running outfits that are accumulating. After making a move to Aberdeen in October 2023, she is keen to continue this new found personality despite the hills. Freya is a lover of all things wholesome and fun, you’ll probably find her laughing with friends and family, or going on wild adventures.
