Gore Running Wear
In 1956, the Gore family launched W. L. Gore & Associates in the basement of their home in Newark, Delaware. 1981 NASA's first space shuttle mission, shuttle Columbia, carried astronauts wearing spacesuits made with GORE-TEX® fabric.
The GORE-TEX® fabric is an incredibly strong, microporus, breathable, waterproof, and windproof fabric, made with Gore's signature polymer and it holds many patents. The pores are too small for water droplets to pass through, but big enough to let water molecules from sweat go through.
