About HOKA One One
HOKA One One, pronounced O-nay O-nay and meaning ‘fly over the earth’, originated in Annecy, France in 2009. Jean-Luc Diard and Nicolas Mermoud, co-founders of HOKA, started making shoes with the aim of reducing the difficulty of long-distance trail and downhill running, but their research also led to the development of highly protective road running shoes. HOKA strive to make running easier for everyone.
The HOKA running shoe range at Run4It includes the Clifton 6, Bondi 6, Elevon 2, Carbon X, Challenger ATR 5, Speedgoat 4, Evo Mafate 2 and Torrent. All models feature lightweight-premium cushioning, an Active Foot Frame and Meta-Rocker; signature HOKA technologies, helping you fly on any surface.
For neutral soft road running shoes, choose between the highly cushioned Clifton 6 or Bondi 6 which offers maximum cushioning. In the neutral responsive category, both the Elevon 2 and the carbon plated Carbon X can be great options for tempo runs and races. The Arahi 4 is a stability soft shoe that offers additional support with a J-Frame.
Trail runners: The Challenger ATR 5 is suitable for a mixture of road and off-road running. Vibram® Megagrip rubber on the Speedgoat 4 provides great grip on wet trails and steeper slopes. The Mafate 2 is similar to the Speedgoat 4 but uses a rubberised midsole for increased responsiveness. The Torrent is ideal for faster-paced running on technical terrain.
