The Wave Inspire is perfect for distance training and is cushioned enough to work well for slower paced runs as well as providing good energy return for some steadier paced sessions.
The redesigned Wave plate within the midsole will give you added support and help to reduce excess pronation. The fan shape of the Wave Plate also improves the smoothness underfoot and provides a softer feeling when running slower. This stability shoe uses a denser medial structure so will offer higher levels of stability and is a great option for runners who need a bit more support.
This is a responsive shoe that will feel good over a mixture of paces and is best for you if have some instability when you run. For a softer underfoot feel check out the Mizuno Wave Horizon 5.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
