Advice for Road Runners: Experience Guided Energy in the new Solar Boost 3 from adidas. Offering runners dynamic cushioning with a stable feel for mixed paces.
Optimising BOOST cushioning in the midsole for great protection and energy return, this shoe is perfect for slow to steady paced running and running on tired legs. A great option for commuter runners or as a recovery shoe, a Control Rail wraps around the Boost foam adding stability for fatigued legs. The Linear Energy Push system also aids stability, guiding the foot from heel to toe off, creating a smooth ride for training miles. These features, not normally offered in a neutral shoe, are great for runners who may need light stability after a long day on their feet.
The Primegreen upper is made using recycled polyester and consists of an open hole mesh for optimal breathability. Supportive overlays add structure to the midfoot and give a locked-in, secure feel to the upper. The reliable continental rubber outsole gives you durable traction on the road.
A versatile shoe, the Solar Boost 3 will help aid tired legs with its plush BOOST cushioning and unique stability features. For more details check out the Run4It staff reviews of the adidas range.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
