Advice for Road Runners: The adidas Men's Solarglide 6 Running Shoes in the Arctic Night/Core Black/Arctic Fusion colourway are neutral road running shoes.
Designed to be a daily running shoe for the majority of your training. The upper is made from at least 50% recycled content.
Responsive, but cushioned. The Solarglide 6 do not feel overly soft. The BOOST material in the midsole creates a responsive and energetic underfoot feel. Looking for propulsive push of the ground with each foot strike? LEP (Linear Energy Push) 2.0 guides your feet and helps with that.
Continental™ rubber on the outsole creates substantial grip and traction, even on wet concrete.
The Solarglide's upper feels relatively plush and will accommodate a range of different foot shapes. It is well suited to the requirements of daily training runs. Meaning that it has some structure to offer some support. However, it is unlikely to feel restrictive.
As mentioned, the adidas Men's Solarglide 6 Running Shoes are well matched to daily training runs. If you are looking for neutral shoes for most of your steady paced runs, these adidas running shoes could work very well for you.
Don't expect these to feel very soft. They do have a lot of responsive cushioning though.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
