Advice for Road Runners: Run faster with less effort in the adidas Unisex Adizero Adios Pro 3 in the Lucid Cyan/Cloud White/Bright Red colourway.
These podium topping marathon racing shoes are born for speed.
Your feet sit directly on top of adidas' LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning. This superfoam feels incredibly soft, bouncy and protective.
Full-length carbon infused ENERGYRODS run the length of the Adizero Adios Pro 3 Running Shoes midsole. This delivers even more energy return and aids propulsion.
Unlike plates, the rods move independantly of one another. Meaning the the midsole should adapt to your foot strike, and feel stable underfoot. Continental rubber on the outsole also improves stability as it offers extra grip around corners.
Shoe weight matters when you're trying to run faster. For this reason, the upper of the adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3 Running Shoes is stripped back to what you need. Supportive overlays and internal heel pods help keep your feet in place over the course of a marathon.
If you have non-adidas running shoes, we recommend buying the Adios Pro 3.0 in a half size bigger than your normal running shoes. That's because the US to UK adidas sizing conversion is only half a size different.
The adidas Unisex Adizero Adios Pro 3 should help you run faster on race day. For this reason, we recommend using them when you're trying to achieve an aspirational time - whether that's at your local parkrun, or a marathon major.
As the Adios Pro 3 feel very stable and have a high degree of outsole rubber, they are suitable for training sessions. It's likely you'll be able to use them for a significant number of key preparation sessions, without diminishing the performance boost on race day.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
