Advice for Road Runners: Experience ultra comfort, protection and a stable ride in the Solar Glide 4 ST. This stability running shoe from adidas uses a Stable Frame and Torsion System to ensure a smooth transition from heel to toe off, for complete confidence as you run.

The new model features a full-length BOOST midsole giving excellent protection and energy return underfoot, and will suit a variety of paces. The Solar Propulsion Rail frames the foam, adding support for the foot. Underneath the foam the Explosive Torsion System helps guide the foot and stop any twisting inwards on the medial side.

The Stretchweb outsole flexes naturally with the foot for comfort while the grip is enhanced with Continental rubber for durable and stable traction on the road. The engineered mesh upper is made using recycled polyester, with an open hole, breathable design. Zonal support across the midfoot keeps the upper feeling secure and locking in while allowing the feet to expand around the forefoot.

This is a highly cushioned shoe for runners who need mild support in one or both feet. It feels great for a mix of long and easy runs thanks to the BOOST midsole and will aid runners who fatigue later on in runs. If you’re just starting to build up distance in your running, the Solar Glide ST 4 is a great option.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
