Altra’s Balanced Cushioning Platform encourages low impact form throughout your run while the highly-cushioned EGO MAX midsole protects on any road run while providing superb responsiveness and a springy feel when you up the pace. Altra’s InnerFlex midsole design encourages the foot to flex naturally while keeping weight to a minimum. The outsole incorporates FootPod Technology which maps the bones and tendons of your foot and encourages it to bend and move naturally.

Upper Fit

The Standard FootShape Fit toe box in this model allows your toes to relax and spread out naturally for extra comfort and stability. The Knit Mesh upper and updated heel collar provide security, comfort and support.

Ideal Run Type

The Altra Torin 6 is a cushioned, lightweight road running shoe which will perform particularly well during slower or steadier paced runs.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
