Advice for Road Runners: The Brooks Women's Ghost 16 1D Running Shoes are the wide-fitting version of this style.
In comparison to the previous model, the cushioning in the latest version should feel softer and more energetic.
The Ghost 16 1D Running Shoes now feature Brooks' nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. This is lighter than the previously foam, and boasts better cushioning qualities.
You should find the cushioning feels very protective, and offers a balanced underfoot feel. By this, we mean it doesn't feel overly soft or firm. One of the stand out features of the Ghost cushioning is how stable it feels.
An updated RoadTack rubber improves durability.
For clarity, the 1D version of the Brooks Ghost 16 Running Shoes offers a wide-fit. This means they feel more spacious than the standard-fit and are suited to runners with broader shaped feet.
In comparison to the previous version, the upper should feet softer and more comfortable.
The Brooks Women's 16 1D Running Shoes are one of the best options for slower paced runs. This is down to the fact that the cushioning should feel protective and comfortable to run in at this type of intensity.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
