On the external surface, an extremely light and transparent water repellent layer gives you protection without any added bulk. This is combined with POLARTEC® ALPHA® insulation, an incredibly thermal layer which protects your body from the cold while still offering maximum breathability. A thin, breathable lining gives a soft feel on the skin and ensures no sweat penetrates the insulating layer. The fabric works to expel vapour to the outside, ensuring you stay dry and warm with no wind chill.

The technical design of these layers, which use a new combination of Gore Wear's POLARTEC® ALPHA® Insulation and GORE® WINDSTOPPER®, sets this jacket apart from the crowd and it has been recognised as a “Product of the Year” from ISPO Awards, honouring the most innovative products in the sports industry.

The exceptionally low overall weight combined with the low noise materials makes this effortlessly comfortable and you'll barely notice you’re wearing an outer layer. Hidden reflective details are set under the transparent outer, visible only when hit by light. There's two zipped side pockets for storing running gloves or valuables and a close fitting hood for optimum visibility in wet and windy conditions. The Form Fit provides a sporting silhouette without being skin tight and lets the garment move with your body as you exercise.
