The step in feeling in the Nike Men's Invincible 3 is that of pure cushioning. A thick midsole of ZoomX foam feels incredibly cushioned and ultra springy. If you're training on consecutive days, the ultra protective foam helps to keep your legs fresher.
While the thick layer of cushioning is optimised for comfort, the high energy returning property of the foam feels propulsive. This is further enhanced by the rocker geometry. As this foam is so soft, Nike have added sculpting, widened the base and added a heel clip, to create stability.
In our experience, the Men's Invincible Run 3 Flyknit upper delivers an accommodating fit. It should suit runners with a broad forefoot. While internal pods at the ankle hold your feet in place, you may wish to use the last eyelet, or spend time adjusting the fit to ensure your ankles are secure.
The Invincible Run 3 keeps your legs fresher and makes the miles feel easier. We recommend running in these if you're aim is to run on back to back days. They're also one of the best options for long runs and recovery days. Finally, the extensive amount of durable rubber on the outsole means these should last very well.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
The technical features above are based on a men's US size 10 shoe.
