Underfoot Feel

The midsole is formed of Nike’s responsive React foam. This foam gives lightweight cushioning and also protects on long distance runs. In addition, the React foam offers excellent stability to balance the high stack height of the shoe.

The outsole design incorporates rubber which works effectively on a wide range of hard-packed surfaces. The grip pattern is effective on more technical terrain, but doesn't compromise comfort on roads. Additionally, the outsole rubber wraps up the sidewalls of the midsole foam to improve protection, stability and durability. 

Upper Fit

The upper incorporates a full GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane for waterproof protection and a comfortable feel. It also delivers greater support to meet the needs of trail runners. 

The small ankle gaiter enhances the protection from the upper. This gaiter is designed to stop excess moisture and debris from entering the top of the shoe. There's also an ankle tab at the back so you can easily pull the shoe on and off.

Ideal Run Type
