Underfoot Feel

Firstly, ZoomX foam provides cushioning and energy return. ZoomX foam provides a great combination of softness and spring. Secondly, the forefoot contains a combination of ZoomX foam and Zoom Air cushioning. The result is that you should be able to achieve a snappy toe-off in that stage of the gait cycle.

Upper Fit

Nike's tests on real runners helped them to understand where feet needed the greatest amount of cooling. On the Vomero's upper, an emphasis was placed on providing stretch and ventilation around the toes. 

The midfoot band works in conjunction with the laces to provide a secure fit. The clip at the heel also helps with stability. 

Finally, a plush tongue should help with comfort.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Men's Vomero 16 Road Running Shoes are well suited to long distance runs. The Vomero should be particularly beneficial for training miles that are part of a high mileage training programme.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
