This shoe now features extra support along the sides with a band at the midfoot. There’s also an external heel clip which provides extra stability when running over uneven ground. Using data obtained from real runners, Nike designed this shoe with mesh placed in key spots to provide stretch and ventilation where it is needed most.

The Air Zoom Vomero 16 features Nike ZoomX foam. Lightweight and energy-returning, it provides a smooth ride from Initial foot strike through your transition. It is combined with Zoom Air cushioning under the forefoot for a snappy, responsive feel as you push off. High-abrasion rubber on the outsole provides durable traction. The tongue is also plusher than previous versions of this shoe, providing even more comfort.
