Advice for Road Runners: The On Men's Cloudrunner Road Running Shoes offer soft cushioning and stability. Designed to be more supportive than On's neutral road running shoes.
It is important that stability running shoes feel supportive so that you have the confidence to focus on your run. The base of these shoes is wider than most other On shoes. In our experience, broad bases on running shoes create a noticeably stable running experience as more surface area is in contact with the ground. Think about how you would feel when standing on a beam or a wide platform. In which example would your feet feel more stable?
The Speedboard® is also wider - to align with the wider base of the shoes. The Speedboard® delivers energy return.
The midsole has a cradle-shaped design, which also increases the stability that will be experienced.
Finally, adaptations to On's signature CloudTec® cushioning creates stability on the medial side of the shoes.
Designed for comfort with a very plush heel collar and tongue. Features a deep heel counter for the purpose of providing a secure fit. An engineered mesh upper will allow your feet to breathe.
The On Men's Cloudrunner Road Running Shoes are ideally suited to regular training runs at slow, steady and moderate speeds.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
