Underfoot Feel

Featuring a Fuze Surge EVA midsole foam which is engineered using less artificial polymers, the shoe offers excellent cushioning and protection. An Ortholite® insole adds to the cushioned, comfortable feel of the shoe. With deep, angular chevron-shaped lugs, the Mud Contagrip® Outsole provides outstanding grip on muddy terrain with the rubber compound maximising traction.

Upper Fit

The SensiFit™ upper offers a generous fit and incorporates a soft, breathable lining to enhance comfort. The upper cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to ensure a secure, snug and personalised fit around the foot. Constructed using abrasion-resistant ripstop fabric in key areas, the upper is highly durable, while a Quicklace™ lacing system ensures the shoe can be put on and taken off quickly.

Ideal Run Type

The Salomon Supercross 4 is a shoe which has been redesigned to perform on soft, muddy trails without compromising on comfort. The outsole design means it will shed mud quickly and provide reliable and secure grip.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
