The midsole foam is Saucony's PWRRUN PB foam. This provides a substantial amount of very responsive cushioning through incredibly light foam.
The plate is a winged nylon plate. This delivers a slightly softer and more flexible underfoot experience in comparison with a carbon fibre plate. It should also prove to be a stable plate to run on due to the 'winged' nature of its design.
SPEEDROLL technology aids forward movement, meaning that the shoe will help you to achieve the pace that you want to run at.
Saucony's FORMFIT upper allows the upper of the shoe to compliment the shape of your foot. Remembering that these shoes are designed for faster running, great care has been taken to reduce the chances of friction inside the upper.
Are these purely for racing? Definitely not - in our opinion. The reason that this style is proving so popular is because it can work for training and for racing. However, they might not the best option for very easy paced runs or recovery runs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
