Dog Jog Virtual Challenge
If you and your four-legged friend are just beginning your journey to being more active and improving your fitness, and are looking for a relaxed, friendly and fun challenge to help motivate you, then Dog Jog is for you!

The Dog Jog Virtual Challenge can be completed whenever you like, which gives plenty of time to train for your challenge and fundraise for a charity of your choice if you wish to. You might decide to tackle your distance in one go, or over multiple days – you get to choose, it’s your challenge!

Dare to be different with a Virtual Kilomathon on Sunday 11th April.
Keeping motivation high during lockdown is essential, and one of the best ways to do this is to work towards a goal! The 2021 Kilomathon will take place virtually on Sunday 11th April, with hundreds running together across the UK.
There are four Kilomathon distances to choose from – the 26.2K is a great distance for those looking to step-up from a half marathon and are training for a marathon. The 13.1K is an excellent distance for those looking to step-up from a 10K and training for a half/marathon, or looking for a bridging gap between a 10K/half. The 6.55K is an ideal step-up from a 5K, or as a stepping stone to the 10K distance. The 2.62K junior race is a fun race for kids and a great way for them to get the whole family involved.

Run Balmoral - Returning in 2022
Sadly, Run Balmoral will not be held in 2021 – but the event will return on 23rd & 24th April 2022.
Run Balmoral promises to be an epic weekend and festival of running, offering Junior races (1.5K & 2.5K) and the ever popular 5K & 10K on the Saturday, followed by the Duathlon and Trail Races (3 Miles or 15 Miles) on the Sunday. Not to mention the notorious 'Devil of Deeside’ (see website for details)!

Inverness Half Marathon & 5K - Returning in 2022
Run the heart and soul of Inverness on Sunday 13th May 2022. This Inverness 1/2 Marathon follows a scenic route through the Highland capital with great PB potential. For anyone looking for a shorter distance, there is also the Inverness 5K – suitable for all ages and running abilities.

Edinburgh Marathon Festival Virtual Challenge
Join Scotland's biggest virtual running festival on 29/30th May 2021.
Your challenge, your rules – with multiple distances to choose to take on virtually over the May Bank Holiday weekend, including the marathon, half marathon, team relay, 10k, 5k and junior races – there really is something for everyone.

Test your stamina and strength in the beautiful, rugged and wild surrounds of iconic Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, with the all-new LochNess360ﹾ Challenge, a three-day running and cycling event in Scotland happening between Friday 28th – Sunday 30th May 2021.
There are 3 challenges for participants to choose from:
- The 3 Marathons, 3 Days Challenge : Run one, two or all three marathons over the weekend
- The Ultra Marathon Challenge : Take on 129km and over 3000m of ascent within a time limit of 24 hours. If you plan on undertaking the entire route of the LochNess360ﹾ Trail, then you must be very experienced in off-road trail running and have experience of completing long ultra marathons (88km plus). This is not a challenge for beginners!
- The Mountain Bike Challenge : Cover 80 miles in just 14 hours.

Celebrate midsummer with the Saltire 24, Aberdeenshire's new 24 hour ultra trail event planned for 19-20 June 2021.
Complete as many laps as possible of the scenic multi-terrain trail beside Kerloch Hill and Fetteresso Forest; pitch your tent or bring your campervan and soak up the atmosphere when you're not on the trail. You can choose between a 12 or a 24 hour option and run solo or in a relay team. This is not just a race for super fit running pros... enter as a pair, quad or "unlimited team" with up to 12 team members and share both the fun and the hard work!
Held in association with Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, there are a limited number of free pledge places available, please apply via the event website.

Mens 10K Glasgow
The Men’s 10K returns to Glasgow on Sunday 29th August. The stunning city-centre 10K sets off from the Riverside Museum, passing by many of Glasgow’s most iconic landmarks along the way, before finishing in style at George Square. More than just a 10K, the event aims to be a catalyst for thousands of guys in Glasgow and beyond, to lace up their trainers and make a positive difference to their lives. Whether you’re running for a personal challenge, to lose weight or quit smoking, or for a cause close to your heart – by simply getting out there, you’ve already won!

Scottish Half Marathon
Sunday 19th September 2021 is the new date for your diary! The Scottish Half Marathon is the ultimate running experience combining a fast, flat route with stunning views of East Lothian's Golf Coast! Whether you’re new to running or a seasoned race-goer, this is a great event to be a part of!
If you want to set a personal best for a half marathon, then this is the event for you. Starting just outside Edinburgh, you run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse, Scotland’s oldest racecourse.
