Kilomathon - New date TBC
Challenge your limits at Kilomathon 2020! Kilomathon are working closely with their partners to establish a new date for the 2020 Kilomathon. The Kilomathon offers three unique race distances. Choose between the 13.1K and 6.5K runs or get the wee ones entered into the 2.62K Mini Kilo! The course starts at Ocean Terminal and finishes in spectacular style at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

Run Balmoral - Returning in 2021
Sadly, Run Balmoral 2020 has been cancelled due to coronavirus, but the event will be back with a bang in 2021.
Run Balmoral promises to be an epic weekend and festival of running, offering Junior races (1.5K & 2.5K) and the ever popular 5K & 10K on the Saturday, followed by the Duathlon and Trail Races (3 Miles or 15 Miles) on the Sunday. Not to mention the notorious 'Devil of Deeside’ (see website for details)!

LochNess360ﹾ Challenge - Returning in 2021
Run4It are proud to support the all-new LochNess360ﹾ Challenge, a three-day running and cycling event in Scotland along the new LochNess360ﹾ Trail, funded and developed by Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN) to connect the Great Glen Way with the South Loch Ness Trail.
Due to the coronavirus the 2020 event has been cancelled, but is expected to return next year on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th & 30th May.
There are 3 challenges for participants to choose from:
-The 3 Marathons, 3 Days challenge. Run one, two or all three marathons over the weekend.
-The Ultra Marathon challenge. Take on 129km and over 3000m of ascent within a time limit of 24 hours. If you plan on undertaking the entire route of the LochNess360ﹾ Trail, then you must be very experienced in off-road trail running and have experience of completing long ultra marathons (88km plus). This is not a challenge for beginners!
-The Mountain Bike challenge covering 80 miles in just 14 hours.
Test your stamina and strength in the beautiful, rugged and wild surrounds of iconic Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands.

Mens 10k Glasgow
The Men’s 10K taking place on Sunday 30 August in Glasgow starts at the spectacular setting of the Riverside Transport Museum. The route heads East along the River Clyde and takes in the scenic views. Iconic buildings to look out for include the Glasgow Science Centre, The Armadillo, The SECC and the SSE Hydro before heading into George Square where cheering crowds await at the finish line!
The life expectancy of a man in Scotland is, shockingly, still the lowest in the UK. Suicide, in addition to other mental health problems, continues to be an issue of high significance to men in Scotland. Men’s 10K aim to help change this, little by little. Why don’t you make a positive change in 2020?

Edinburgh Marathon Festival - Postponed until Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September

Saltire 24 - Postponed until Saturday 12th September
A brand new 24 hour ultra trail race at Knockburn Loch in Aberdeenshire!
Celebrate midsummer with the Saltire 24 ultra trail race in Royal Deeside on Saturday 12th September 2020. Complete as many laps as possible of the scenic multi-terrain trail beside Kerloch Hill and Fetteresso Forest; pitch your tent or bring your campervan and soak up the atmosphere when you're not on the trail. You can choose between a 12 or a 24 hour option and run solo or in a relay team. This is not just a race for super fit running pros... enter as a pair, quad or "unlimited team" with up to 12 team members and share both the fun and the hard work!

Run Garioch - Postponed until Sunday 13th September
Run Garioch will take place on Sunday 13th September 2020 With six event distances to choose from – a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and three junior runs – the Inverurie, Aberdeenshire event has something for everyone. All proceeds from Run Garioch support the work of the Garioch Sports Centre, which provides sporting and community activities for all ages and abilities.

Scottish Half Marathon
The Scottish Half Marathon is back on Sunday 20 September. The route is seriously flat and rapid – so if you want to set a personal best for a half marathon, then this is the event for you. Starting conveniently at 11am just outside Edinburgh, you will run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse.

Taking place on the same day as the half marathon, Sunday 20 September, the shorter 10K route starts and finishes just outside Edinburgh at Musselburgh Racecourse. The Scottish 10K route is seriously fast and flat! You’ll run out and back along the magnificent Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse. Come and be a part of it!

Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running

Women's 10k Edinburgh

Men's 10k Edinburgh
Take part in Men's 10K Edinburgh on Sunday 25 October! Starting on the historic Royal Mile, this incredible city centre route takes you past the Scottish National Gallery and into Princes Street Gardens, with the iconic Edinburgh Castle as your backdrop. It then goes past the Scott Monument and swoops past the Scottish Parliament building, before carrying onto Holyrood Park. Here you take in the spectacular Arthurs Seat, as well as Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth, before heading on to the Grassmarket. As you reach the hustle and bustle of the Grassmarket you’re past the halfway point, where the cheering crowds will help you on your way to a grandstand finish at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

Supernova Kelpies - Postponed until Friday 13th, Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November
Take a beautiful and iconic venue such as The Kelpies, wait until dusk, get the family together (and we mean everyone – grandparents, uncles, aunties, parents, kids, friends!), dig out the fluorescent clothing and grab everything and anything that glows or flashes. Then set off on a Supernova 5K! Taking place Friday 13th, Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November 2020, the Supernova Keplies 5K event is the perfect way to get involved in a timed 5K with your family and friends, whilst taking in the atmosphere and fun. Starting and finishing within Helix Park, this beautiful route allows runners the rare opportunity to run alongside the iconic Kelpie sculptures, which are lit up and change colour at dusk to create a beautiful spectacle for participants and spectators alike!

Glentress Trail Races
A superb weekend of early winter trail races in Glentress Forest, located in the beautiful Tweed Valley. Starting with a 21K Trail Half Marathon on the morning of Saturday 14 November 2020, followed by a 10K night race on Saturday evening.
On Sunday 15 November 2020 it’s the Tweed Valley Ultra, a superb multi-terrain ultra which is based around the Tweed Valley forest park with a choice of 65K and 50K distances.
