Underfoot Feel
The Brooks Women's Ghost 15 GORE-TEX features DNA LOFT v2 cushioning. We expect you'll find this feels soft and energetic underfoot. Meaning it performs well at different paces and distances.
Upper Fit
If you're reading this description, you probably want to know how the GORE-TEX version differs in fit to the standard Ghost 15. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane is bonded directly to the upper. While you'll feel a slight difference to the standard edition, it's barely noticeable. For the avoidance of doubt, the upper is fully waterproof.
Ideal Run Type
If you're the type of runner who doesn't like wet feet during a run, the Brooks Ghost 15 GORE-TEX is a great choice. It's particularly nice to have waterproof running shoes on days when you're commuting. Having wet feet at the start of a working day is never good.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
