Underfoot Feel
The Brooks Women's Glycerin 20 feels very cushioned underfoot. That's because it features DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. It's softer, more responsive and lighter than DNA LOFT V2 cushioning that's in the Ghost 15. While there's never a best running shoe, this is Brooks' most advanced foam to date.
Upper Fit
We know how the upper fits makes a big difference to how comfortable running shoes feel. The Brooks Glycerin 20 should feel exceptionally comfortable around your feet. That's because the upper features premium fabrics that are soft and breathable.
Ideal Run Type
Extra cushioning can make it easier to run further and reduce muscle soreness. For this reason, the Brooks Glycerin 20 is a great option for runners who are building up the distance of runs. In our experience, this level of cushioning can improve the ability to run on consecutive days in more comfort.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
