Advice for track runners: The Nike Zoom Rival Track and Field Multi-Event Spikes are very versatile. They are a core part of our range as they are suitable for a number of different events.

Trying out different track and field events? These are suitable for sprint and middle distance running on the track, such as 100m to 1500m events. Also suitable for hurdle events, jumps and pole vault. 

Underfoot Feel

Added heel cushioning - in comparison with the heel cushioning in sprint spikes - increases comfort. A 3/4 length plate should help you to sprint on your toes. As a result, these spikes are not suitable for long distance track running. 

Upper Fit

Engineered to be supportive and comfortable. The support stems from an arch band that secures the midfoot. Heel support is provided by no-sew overlays. A padded collar is also a great design feature. Finally, the end of the upper at the toe box features overlays for increased durability reasons.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Zoom Rival Track and Field Multi-Event Spikes are perfect for track running - up to 1500m, along with the event types listed above. 

Important Sizing Note: When buying unisex Nike spikes, please refer to the size guides and choose your size based on the EU sizing. The conversion for UK sizes 6 and below differs slightly from road or trail running shoes.

Note that spikes are designed to be snug and secure, limiting lateral movement while providing drive onto the running surface, and are manufactured quite small in comparison to road or trail running shoes. To ensure a secure fit and optimum performance, we recommend your spikes being at least a full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
