Underfoot Feel
An EVA midsole provides high levels of cushioning. It also creates a stable platform to land on. When running on trails, it's important that your feet can adapt to the terrain - which these shoes allow. However, some stability resulting from the midsole cushioning can help to increase comfort, especially when you are tired.
A combination of Vibram® Megagrip and Vibram® Litebase in the outsole results in traction that should increase your confidence on uneven ground. The stickiness of the outsole will be particularly advantageous on wet rock.
Upper Fit
Asymmetrical lacing provides increased support. It is designed to reduce the chance of you experiencing pressure points on your feet when you are running.
The upper is also very durable as it is made from a monofilament polyester and TPE. The robustness of the upper needs to match the toughness of the outsole.
Ideal Run Type
The NNormal Unisex Tomir Trail Running Shoes are a great option for slow to steady paced trail runs. If you want high levels of cushioning and energy rebound from the midsole to help you on long trail runs, the Tomir is well worth considering.
If you are looking for NNormal trail running shoes for faster runs, we recommend the Kjerag.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
