HOKA joined us in March 2026 for a special edition of the Edinburgh and Bridge of Allan RunClub. They brought the Speed Lane experience to put the Cielo X1 3.0, Mach 7, and Mach X 3 to the test, creating an immersive setup that featured glowing cones and lighting effects designed to capture the “speed of light” energy of the Cielo X1 3.0 - fuelled by Maurten.
The Edinburgh RunClub session started from the shop, where runners got kitted out in their shoes of choice, and were handed a HOKA t-shirt, before heading to the Meadows loop for the main set of the session.

The Bridge of Allan RunClub is hosted at the University of Stirling track - providing the perfect set up for the Speed Lane. Like at the Edinburgh session, every RunClub member found the ride that suited them for the session:
- Cielo X1 3.0 - fast and propulsive, perfect for race-day speed
- Mach X 3 - smooth and versatile, ideal for longer runs or mixed workouts
- Mach 7 - lightweight and responsive, ready for easy miles or faster efforts
Maurten provided the Drink Mix 160 and Solid 160 as part of a fuelling strategy specifically designed for this interval session:
- Pre-exercise (1-4 hours before): 1 x Solid 160 or Solid C 160
- Warm-up (10-30 minutes): 1 x Gel CAF 100 or 1 x Gel 160 or 1 x Gel 100
- Main set (20-70 minutes): 1 x Drink Mix 160 or 1 x Drink Mix 320 or 1 x Drink Mix 320 CAF
Massive thanks to HOKA and Maurten for supporting these runs.
