On is a Swiss brand that was founded in 2010 by former professional triathlete and Ironman winner Olivier Bernhard alongside his friends, David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti. On’s revolutionary CloudTec cushioning has evolved considerably over the years. While their tagline is ‘running on clouds’, you’re likely to enjoy a different running experience from each model. However, every model feels uniquely On. We stock a wide range of men’s and women’s On Running Shoes at Run4It. You can choose the type of cushioning and experience that best matches your training goals. If you’re looking for soft feeling On running shoes, the Cloudeclipse and Cloudsurfer are likely to be the best options. This is because they feature On’s CloudTec Phase cushioning. The unique midsole design collapses in sequence to create an ultra fluid transition from landing to take-off. The max-cushioned Cloudeclipse are the better options for longer distances though. We recommend using the Cloudsurfer for shorter distance runs. Both of these On models should feel very comfortable when you’re running at slower paces. We also stock the On Cloudgo and Cloudrunner. The Cloudgo offers a versatile underfoot experience and should perform well over a range of paces and distances. The Cloudrunner offer a similar level of protection - however, they offer more support. In fact, the Cloudrunner are likely to feel like the most supportive On Running Shoes. This should make them the best choice for runners who have unstable feet and ankles. For the runners who are seeking protection and propulsion, it’s hard to look past the On Cloudmonster and Cloudstratus. In a similar fashion to the Cloudeclipse, the Cloudmonster are max-cushioning On Running Shoes. In contrast to the Cloudeclipse though, they feature a full-length Speedboard. This nylon structure improves energy return and aids forward momentum - which should result in a propulsive experience. As a result, the Cloudmonster are likely to perform very well over a wide range of paces. The Cloudstratus also offer amazing propulsion as a result of featuring a Speedboard, but they aren’t as cushioned as the Cloudmonster. These performance-orientated options should feel at their best on steady runs. We also expect you’ll find they feel pretty good if you want to pick up the pace. For example, on a tempo-pace run. It goes without saying that On Running Shoes look great too. If you’re looking for stylish running shoes that feel comfortable and supportive for walking, we suggest considering On. Whilst you could use all of the On Running Shoes at Run4It for walking, we suggest choosing ones that don’t feature a full-length Speedboard. This is because you should experience a softer and plusher underfoot feel. This means the Cloudeclipse and Cloudsurfer are likely to feel the best.
