Key updates to the 1080 v14 include a new, triple jacquard mesh upper, and an updated outsole - which increases stiffness in the forefoot by 9% to provide a slightly more responsive and structured ride than the v13, and promote smoother transitions from landing to take off. Our test runs showed the 1080 v14 continue to be one of the best daily mileage running shoes out there, but lack the level of responsiveness required to assist those higher intensity, harder efforts.
