Amy Byrne
Shop Manager

Amy found running in 2017 as part of a health and fitness overhaul in her life. She slowly progressed to 10ks, and half marathons. Her training goals now focus around competing in the fitness racing competition, Hyrox. You can find her lifting weights in the gym, taking part in CrossFit sessions, and at Run4It Glasgow City's excellent (and sweaty) interval session on Monday nights.

Scott Kennedy
Senior Assistant Manager

After a 21 year career in insurance, Scott joined Run4It in 2010 and remains with us to this day! He splits his time between being part of the management team in our Glasgow City store and creating content for our website. He’s also the company shoe guru (owning a ridiculously large shoe collection!) and has responsibility for the shoe range you see in our stores and on our website. If it doesn’t get Scott’s approval, we don’t stock it! A font of knowledge across the Glasgow and wider running scene, he’s an accomplished racer and a qualified endurance coach. Scott also leads the training group from our Glasgow City store on Monday evenings and loves using his expertise to help others improve their running, whatever their ability or experience.

Iona Kelly
Team Member

She’s ran all her life fluctuating in amount, when she was younger she took part in a couple triathlons and did cross country at school. As she’s got older her love for running has increased with her biggest achievement being recently completing an Ironman 70.3. Running has begun to play a much bigger role in her weekly training and she loves a trail run but her favourite running session is a social run that finishes in a cafe or pub! With a degree in medical science her knowledge of nutrition and sports fuelling definitely is scientific (although most of it comes from learning the hard way and bonking while on long runs!!)

Lexie started running as a triathlete, and after a recent knee injury, reignited her love of running throughout her recovery. Running primarily middle distances, she is passionate about fostering accessibility and inclusivity in the running community.
