Donna joined Run4It as an Assistant Manager in 2008 having graduated from University with an Honours degree in Sports and Exercise Therapy. With her passion for sport (mainly netball) combined with her knowledge on sports injuries, Donna has brought a strong skill set into the Glasgow team. Moving from an Assistant Manager role in 2013 to the Manager position has cemented her as one of the longest serving members of the management team within Run4It. When not working she is a mum to two kids and a furry four-legged friend who keep her on her toes.
After a 21 year career in insurance, Scott joined Run4It in 2010 and remains with us to this day! He splits his time between being part of the management team in our Glasgow City store and creating content for our website. He’s also the company shoe guru (owning a ridiculously large shoe collection!) and has responsibility for the shoe range you see in our stores and on our website. If it doesn’t get Scott’s approval, we don’t stock it! A font of knowledge across the Glasgow and wider running scene, he’s an accomplished racer and a qualified endurance coach. Scott also leads the training group from our Glasgow City store on Monday evenings and loves using his expertise to help others improve their running, whatever their ability or experience.
Amy joined the Run4It team full time in 2018 after completing her degree in Journalism and after a year of great progression was promoted to Assistant Manager. Having always been an active gym goer, Amy didn’t fully catch the running bug until August 2018. Since then she has completed various 10k races and a half marathon, with more lined up in the future. With a love of cocktails, food and all things yellow, Amy brings boundless enthusiasm and eclectic tastes to the shop!
Paul returned to Run4It after 18 months of being primary carer for his son having previously worked with the company for 3 years in a management role. Paul has well over 20 years of specialist sports and outdoor retail experience. This experience means he'll happily and confidently help you with your running needs. His time in outdoor retail gives him a fantastic understanding of clothing material technologies and he can help you choose the perfect clothing to enhance your running experience whatever the Scottish weather throws at you!
Phil originally joined the Run4It team in Aberdeen in February 2020 before transferring his skills to the Glasgow team in September 2020 when studying for his Masters in Sustainable Water Environments at Glasgow University. The latest whippet to join the Glasgow team, Phil has been racing at a high level of late, knocking chunks off his PBs across a range of distances on road and track! Finding a quality training group in Glasgow and nailing his colours to the mast of the Uni team, the ever-smiling Phil hopes to improve his own running just as much as he improves the running experience of everyone he helps in the shop!
Connor is an avid runner and cyclist with an interest in general healthy living and is now in his second spell working at Run4It. Having graduated with a degree in Applied Psychology, Connor had a spell working abroad in the running industry and intends to pursue a career in sports psychology in the future. A keen lover of all things outdoors, Connor spends most of his spare time cycling, playing football or climbing the odd mountain or two.
Hailing from the chilly North, Alasdair joined the Run4It team in Inverness in October 2018 before joining the Glasgow City team after starting his studies in the city. A keen orienteer, Alasdair has been a member of Inverness Orienteering Club since 2008. He participates in cross country racing through the Winter and dabbles in track running during the Summer. But he's at home when orienteering all across the country, with his best performances coming in 2016 and 2017 when he won the U16 Scottish Winter League. He is currently studying Earth Science at Glasgow University.
From lacing up on the football pitch, to the unforgiving city pavements of Glasgow, Miles joined Run4it in May 2021 after throwing himself into running only a few months before. With his athletic background, he quickly found a passion for the intensity of the sport and its competitive nature. Miles currently uses running to build his fitness and maintain mental and physical well-being but commits to the occasional fitness training program to beat his 5k PB. Miles is currently in his final year at Glasgow University studying Economics which we can all agree was a weird choice.

The Osteopaths is an award-winning clinic of osteopaths and sports therapists who take the time to assess the whole patient. Looking at previous medical history and fully assessing posture and movement (as well as the movement of individual joints), they’ll discuss their diagnosis with clients and formulate a treatment plan that will get to the root cause of any problem rather than just treat the symptoms. Treatments use a “Hands On” approach, incorporating manipulation, stretching techniques and acupuncture if appropriate. The Osteopaths provide an individualised online rehab programme consisting of videos of suggested exercises, with regular review carried out. Working with patients including athletes, children and the elderly, they’ll help rehabilitation from injury as well as working to prevent injuries occurring. Teresa and her team aim to give patients control so that they can carry on doing the activities they love.

We are often told that the difference between us and other shops is our people. We think they are just the best. Each team member goes through a period of induction, training and assessment no matter what the job is. Over the years we have invested a load not just in the training but also in ensuring that we are giving the team the very best possible terms and conditions we can – it’s even written down in our business values.
Sorry, there are no current vacancies for this shop.
