The cushioning in the midsole is provided by moulded-EVA. The adidas Unisex Distancestar Running Spikes have a responsive underfoot feel. A lightweight mesh upper creates a secure fit while maintaining flexibility.
Note that spikes are designed to be snug and secure, limiting lateral movement while providing drive onto the running surface, and are manufactured quite small in comparison to road or trail running shoes. To ensure a secure fit and optimum performance, we recommend your spikes being at least a full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
