Altra’s Balanced Cushioning Platform encourages low-impact form throughout your run. Additionally, the Compression Molded EVA midsole provides fantastic underfoot protection and comfort and flexes to adapt to uneven ground. The highly durable Vibram MegaGrip outsole offers superb traction in both wet and dry conditions.
The Original FootShape Fit toe box allows your toes to relax and also spread out for more comfort and stability. The engineered mesh upper is highly durable. The ankle collar also delivers a secure, locked-in feel.
The Altra Women's Olympus 5 Trail Running Shoes are rugged and robust trail running shoes. They will offer high levels of cushioning and comfort on the longest trail runs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
