Underfoot Feel
The midsole is made from Brooks' nitrogen infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. This offers a soft and plush underfoot ride. The high-stack midsole should also protect your feet on rocky terrain.
As the Caldera 8 Running Shoes are designed for uneven terrain, the midsole sidewalls are raised. This offers extra support and security. Wide base-nets and flex grooves improve your ability to adapt to unpredictable surfaces.
The 4 mm lug outsole should offer traction across a wide range of terrain. Importantly, it should feel comfortable on hard-packed ground.
Upper Fit
The Brooks Caldera 8 Running Shoes' upper is designed to be very durable. The materials resist scratching and snagging on the trail. The air mesh also has breathable TPEE in the top layer - further enhancing durability.
Finally, the quick-dry mesh should shed moisture quickly if you're running on wet ground.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
