Underfoot Feel
DNA Tuned consists of two types of nitrogen-infused foam. The heel section of the midsole features larger cells - offering an ultra-soft underfoot feel. In contrast, the forefoot section features smaller cells - delivering greater energy return.
The latest edition features more tuned forefoot cushioning to improve responsiveness.
The wide base of the midsole improves the inherent stability of the midsole. A deep heel groove also deforms to help absorb more energy at impact - a great feature for heel strikers.
As mentioned, added support is delivered via Brooks' GuideRails™ Technology System. This support system works in a similar way to the bumpers at a bowling alley; they support your body's natural motion path while keeping excess motion in check.
Upper Construction
The upper of the Brooks Glycerin GTS 23 Running Shoes is designed to deliver maximum comfort, with an accommodating fit. A triple jacquard engineered air mesh offers a plush and breathable feel.
At the ankle, a flat knit collar creates a secure and comfortable fit.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
