Underfoot Feel
A thick layer of compression moulded EVA foam offers lots of protection for runs on hard surfaces.
Thanks to HOKA's Smooth MetaRocker™ technology, you should experience smooth transitions from landing to take-off.
The rearfoot-focused Active Foot Frame™ cradles the back of your feet. This is likely to improve your sensation of support on tarmac and uneven tracks.
Multi-directional 4 mm lugs offer extra traction on a mixtures of surfaces. Importantly, the lug orientation should feel relatively good on hard-packed ground.
Overall, the HOKA Challenger 8 Running Shoes should feel comfortable on both road and trail.
Upper Fit
The upper has a recycled engineered mesh.
Featuring a 3D screen printed toe cap, your toes should be protected if they hit off hard objects - such as rocks and tree routes.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
