Underfoot Feel
Like the standard, Clifton 11 Running Shoes, the GTX edition features a compression-moulded foam. This offers a balanced underfoot feel - meaning it doesn't feel overly soft or responsive.
Thanks to the MetaRocker™ geometry, the lightweight midsole delivers smooth transitions from landing to take-off. Which should feel great during your everyday miles.
A rearfoot-focused Active FootFrame™ offers extra support for your feet and ankles.
Designed for running in the rain, the outsole has traction pods and sticky rubber in the forefoot. This is ideal for wet and slippery pavements.
Upper Construction
A fully waterproof GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper keeps your feet dry in wet conditions. The advantage of the Invisible Fit is that is bonded directly to the upper, which means the fit and feel isn't compromised.
The upper also has a water repellent treatment applied. While an adjustable speed lace provides a sleek and practical finish.
Ideal Run Type
The HOKA Men's Clifton 11 GTX Running Shoes are built for slow and steady-paced training runs in wet and cold conditions.
We don't recommend wearing these on warm days, as your feet will probably get too hot.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
