Advice for Road Runners: The HOKA Unisex Cielo X1 3.0 Running Shoes are HOKA's pinnacle race day shoes.
The midsole is designed to feel exceptionally lightweight, and ultra-propulsive.
A thick layer of PEBA foam offers lots of energy return and protection. It should feel fast and agile for short-distance races, and protective for long-distance events.
The carbon-fibre plate improves energy return and helps stabilise the soft PEBA midsole.
The upper is made with a highly-engineered Leno weave textile. This delivers exceptional breathability and durability.
Asymmetrical lacing and a stretch - patent pending - dynamic vamp improve the fit across the midfoot and toe box.
A refined heel collar should deliver enough support so that your ankles feel locked it.
The main attraction of the HOKA Unisex Cielo X1 3.0 Running Shoes is that the midsole should perform across a range of distances.
While the cushioning offers lots of protection, it is tuned to feel fast and highly-propulsive. It's likely this model is best suited to runners chasing fast times - whether that's in a 5K or marathon.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
