Underfoot Feel
In comparison to the previous model, the midsole and outsole are wider. This provides a stable platform from which to land and push off from. This can significantly help when it comes to completing daily training runs in comfort.
The main body of the midsole is made from Mizuno Enerzy foam. There is a section of Mizuno Enerzy Core foam in the rearfoot area. This combination results in soft cushioning with a high rate of energy return.
Upper Fit
The stretch woven upper is designed to stretch from side to side. It is not designed to stretch from front to back. This means that your feet are held in position, but the upper will adapt to the width of your feet.
Ideal Run Type
The Mizuno Men's Wave Skyrise 5 Running Shoes are best for easy to steady paced training runs which take place on the road. Designed to provide significant levels of consistent comfort.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
