Advice for Road Runners: The Mizuno Unisex Hyperwarp Pro Running Shoes are great race day shoes for runners seeking a balance between performance and comfort.
This model features Mizuno's Enerzy XP TPEE foam - a foam that feels soft and highly-responsive, but more inherently stable than the PEBA based version.
The Smooth Speed Assist geometry also aids the underfoot stability, and smooths out transitions from landing to take-off.
Designed to help runners perform across a range of paces, the midsole has a carbon-infused wave plate. Less rigid than a carbon-fibre plate, this plate design should feel less aggressive and more comfortable at slower speeds.
Made with a premium monofilament woven upper, the material should feel very light and breathable.
First and foremost, the Mizuno Unisex Hyperwarp Pro Running Shoes are designed to help you run faster in races - whether it's a 5K or marathon.
The key point to note is that the midsole should feel less aggressive and more stable than typical super-shoes. As a result, this model is likely to work well for runners who chasing faster times, but also want to maximise comfort throughout the run.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
