Advice for Road Runners: The New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X 860 V15 Running Shoes offers lots of support for your feet and ankles.
The midsole has a number of features which deliver a protective and highly-supportive underfoot feel.
A top layer layer of soft Fresh Foam X cushioning helps improve comfort. While a bottom layer of firmer foam enhances the inherent stability of the midsole.
A support structure - named Stability Plane - is sandwiched between the two layers of cushioning. This helps stabilise your feet and ankles, without sacrificing cushioning.
Finally, wide base nets and higher sidewalls also make the midsole more stable to run in.
The upper features a breathable engineered mesh. The key feature to call out is the gusseted tongue, as this improves the midfoot lockdown fit.
The New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X 860 V15 Running Shoes are built for slow and steady-paced runs. This model is a good option for long-distance runs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
